Job Scope:
- Develop and implement effective safety management systems, including preventive measures and risk assessments to minimize workplace accidents
- Execute workplace safety, health, and environmental programs and initiatives
- Compile and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation related to safety matters
- Enforce safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Prepare and submit safety reports, conduct necessary audits, and assist in safety certifications
- Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to ensure facilities and equipment are safe and in good working condition
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on safety practices and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a safety-related field
- Experience with ISO documentation and audits
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- At least 3 years of registration as a WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of WSHO experience in the construction industry
- ECO and ECMO licenses are advantageous
