Job Description

Job Responsibilties:

Assists in activities of daily living (ADL) of residents
Assists in ensuring the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents
Ensures good personal hygiene of the residents under his/her care
Assist to bathe the frail and weak residents and help them move around
Ensure that residents are properly attired and are clean at all times
To change diapers for residents
To assist non-ambulant and semi-ambulant residents with their toilet and other needs
To ensure that residents have regular haircut, shave and their nails trimmed, neat and nice
To serve and respond to residents with attentive care
To assist residents during meal times
Assist residents to go through the hand washing regime before meals
To report to Duty Officer on emergencies or any other incidents
To maintain the overall tidiness and cleanliness of the Home
To wash, mop or vacuum dry and disinfect dormitories and toilets and all other places instructed by supervisor
To check toilets at regular intervals and to ensure they are clean and in good condition
To clean / sun bed boards at regular intervals
To observe infection control procedures
To provide feedback on general repairs and maintenance requirements in the Home
Any other duties as assigned by management
