Healthcare Assistant (Radiology)

Core Duties:

. Engage in computer-based tasks for registeration, inpatient and outpatient services and provide assistance as needed.

. Receive and prepare patients for their radiographic procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being in waiting areas.

. Prepare imaging/procedure rooms, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in waiting areas and changing rooms.

. Assist Radiographers during procedures, including chaperoning and transferring patients as required.

. Assist patients in selecting appropriate hospital gowns for different procedures before radiographic procedures.

. Clean X-ray accessories, imaging plates, and replenish departmental stocks and supplies.

. Maintain the overall cleanliness of the department to uphold hygiene standards.

Additional Duties:

. Perform patient portering and general dispatching services as needed.

. Actively participate in other duties assigned by the department-in-charge to support the smooth functioning of the radiology department.

Job Requirements:

Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent

Able to read and write in simple English

Able to work on rotating shifts (including weekends & PH)
