Rotational shift:
6.45am to 4.15pm and 12.15pm to 9.45pm
5 days work week, rotating off day
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Orientate patients to assigned beds/facilities.
b) Answer patient's calls and relay patient's requests to department-in-charge.
c) Attend to patient's basic needs e.g. toilet baths, bed sponging, serving of meals and drinks, feeding.
d) Conduct bedpan/urinal rounds change patient's diapers.
e) Walk patients to toilet and assist them in toilets.
f) Monitor restless patients and ensure that they are safe and comfortable.
g) Chaperone female patients where required.
h) Clean spillages, discharges, and vomit bowls, urinals as and when needed.
i) Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of beds, lockers and non-patient rooms. E.g. store room.
j) Assist in inventory of linen and department items (e.g. flasks, pillows, bedpans).
k) Any other relevant duties as and when assigned by the Superior.
