Roche Singapore is seeking a strategic thinker to join our Patient Access and Policy Chapter as a Healthcare Systems Partner (HSP). As a HSP, you will work closely with system-level healthcare stakeholders such as policy makers, regulators, and payers to challenge and shape the healthcare system in service of better health outcomes for more patients faster in a sustainable way to society. In this role, you will deal with some of the most interesting healthcare policy challenges, including patient empowerment, healthcare funding, and broader value recognition of innovations. This position will be based in Singapore and will report to the Chapter Lead of Patient Access and Policy.
Your Opportunity
Lead the development and implementation of our patient engagement and advocacy strategy in line with our system shaping goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and drive strategic opportunities to solve for system and policy constraints for prioritized disease areas in conjunction with relevant ecosystem stakeholders
Lead external engagement with prioritized health system stakeholders
Represent Roche in relevant work streams at Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (SAPI)
Represent Singapore in selected APAC and global networks
Who you are
University degree (scientific, economic, or business degree). An advanced degree in Life science and/or Master of Public Health, MBA is a plus
Expertise in public health and health policy is a plus
Deep understanding of Singapores healthcare system, policy, and political environment and also having a good understanding of the pharma industry, its processes and governance
A track record of development and delivery of policy/ government affairs/ patient engagement strategies
Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
Experience working with/for trade associations, civil societies, government affairs consultancy companies, or patient organizations is a plus
Fluent in English. Fluency in other local languages (Mandarin, Malay, Hindi) is a plus
