HIGH PERFORMANCE EXECUTIVE
(TRAINING & COMPETITION)
The Singapore Shooting Association (SSA) is seeking a High-Performance Executive (Training & Competition) to assist in the implementation and organisation of training and competition in SSA. The appointed person will be responsible for the following:
- Report to the Training & Competitions Manager on all matters pertaining to Training & Competition.
- Plan, organize, implement and review:
- Local competitions run by SSA
- Coaching Courses
- Officiating Courses
- Have an overview of SSA endorsed competitions run by clubs.
- Manage and track the National Team training schedule and usage of training venues.
- Keep up to date record of National Teams training attendance.
- Perform the duties of a Team Manager in Overseas Competitions.
- Work with relevant personnel, organisations, or stakeholders to ensure the success of the above.
- Produce promotional materials and displays. Manage and optimise various social media platforms for outreach efforts.
- The individual must be strongly independent with warm disposition and has good communication skills.
- Maintain statistical and financial records.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferably GCE A Levels/Diploma or above
Experienced in administrative matters would be preferable.
- Preferably an NROC Registered Shooting Coach, possesses a valid ISSF License and Values & Principles in Sports accreditation
- Passionate in the promotion of the sport of shooting.
- Team player and able to work independently and responsibly.
- Good with oral/written communications in English. Knowledge in other languages and good presentation skills will be an added advantage.
- Knowledgeable in shooting and general sport safety would be an added advantage.
- Physically and medically fit, and mentally sound with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
SSA Skills and Licensing Program
. All SSA staff will be trained to hold appropriate licenses and accreditation for their role in SSA.
