Job Summary
As a Hitachi Resident engineer, you need to have experience as a Storage Administrator with in-depth knowledge of Hitachi storage systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Incident management and change management process knowledge.
- Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background. Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Hitachi storage architecture
- Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc)
- Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async
- Hitachi Global Active Device
- Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM etc
- Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc)
- Basic knowledge of VMware, OS(AIX/Windows/Linux)
- Basic scripting knowledge
