Job Description & Requirements

Position: Home-based Student Care Assistant (Permanent Part-time)

Working days: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 2:30pm to 6:30pm (4 hours)

Working location: Hougang Street 91 (permanent 1 location)

Salary starts from $960.00 ($10 - $15 per hour depending on experience, negotiable)

Example illustration how it is being calculated:

4 hours X 5 days = 20 hours X $10= $200 (1 week) X 4 weeks = $800

4 hours X 5 days = 20 hours X $12= $240 (1 week) X 4 weeks = $960

4 hours X 5 days = 20 hours X $15= $300 (1 week) X 4 weeks = $1200

As per regular employment regulations: overtime if any no working on Public Holiday Full CPF contribution.

Mature age candidate looking for part-time work are strongly encouraged to apply. Staying in the vicinity around Hougang and Serangoon North is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Care and supervise 2 children (Primary 2 and Primary 5) in a home-based setting.
• Guide them with their schoolwork (English / Maths / Science / Chinese)
• May need to plan out a timetable for daily activities (homework / learning skills works)
• Plan and deliver activities art and craft, social studies and other character-building works.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen / Permanent Resident
• Possess genuine care for children and desire to nurture them holistically.
• Able to maximise IT technology such as ChatGPT, Co-pilot, Google Translate enhance tutoring method is a bonus advantage
• Able to discipline students patiently and firmly.
• Good communication skills
• Familiarity with the current school syllabus and experience
