The Hook-up & Commissioning Manager is responsible for the coordination of the hook-up activities on projects during the project execution considering the preparatory engineering phase, procurement plan for equipment and tools, definition of procurement services and in charge of the coordination of the topside operations (Offshore Substation)
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - DETAILED:
Key Responsibilities
- Supply hook-up technical expertise for the project.
- Support and cordon the onshore execution phase, considering assistance during the preparatory engineering phase as well.
- Participate in the recruitment of hock-up staff as per project requirement and activity workload.
- Prepare hook-up procedures, work sequences, man-hours estimate, planning development, MOB/DEMOB plans of project.
- Define and follow Mobilization / Demobilization plan of personnel required for project.
- Define and follow Mobilization / Demobilization of Materials, Equipment's required for project.
- Define Procurement plan for project relative to equipment, materials, consumables, subcontractors need.
- Follow-up procurement, utilization, maintenance, storage of the hook-up equipment and tools during project execution.
- Follow hook up consumables on the project.
- Perform Hook up site visits as required
Interfaces - Coordination
- With Engineering Department: Constructability review, Review of hook up procedures, manpower planning, schedule planning preparation, hock-up staff recruitment and mobilization.
- With HR Department: staff and manpower recruitment, mobilization.
- Coordinate with Client on the offshore vessel operations
- With Offshore HUC Contractor on procurement of equipment, tools and consumables, assistance to sub-contracting,
Externally Coordination
- With Client regarding the scope of work, planning, procedures and overall organization for project
- With suppliers or subcontractors when required as per project and Operations requirements.
