Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting their meals, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Accurately record and relay meal orders to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver meals to patients in a timely and courteous manner.
- Manage multiple meal orders simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and kitchen personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Address any patient concerns or special requests regarding their meals.
- Ensure compliance with hospital food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
