Position Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible to clean and maintain guest rooms, guest corridor and service pantry in accordance to the standards set by the hotel
The Role
- Makes the bed, dusts the room and furniture, replenishes the guestroom and bath supplies, cleans the bathroom and bedroom, vacuums carpet.
- Replenish the mini bar items for the guest rooms.
- Organizes and replenishes housekeeping trolley and linen pantries on assigned floors with linen and amenities
- Responsible for the gathering and removal of soiled linen from the floors
- Assists in the placement and/or removal of guestroom items including furniture and fittings such as rollaway bed, baby cots.
- Ensures rubbish is collected from floors and is disposed in accordance to hotel standards
- Completes all assigned paperwork (updating room cleaned, D&D room) in an accurate and timely manner
- Reports any maintenance issues such as carpet cleaning requirements and pest infestations to Housekeeping Coordinator
- esponsible for all lost and found items from the guest room to be handed to Security Department promptly.
- Manage and monitor the housekeeping status of the Knowcross system.
- Undertakes other duties as and when assigned by the Director of Housekeeping or the Managers of Housekeeping.
