Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and conducting inspections.
  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards.
  • Train, mentor and evaluate the housekeeping staff performance, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols.
  • Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies inventory and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage housekeeping teams effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time mangement skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members and other departments
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety regulations
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
