A reputable multi-national Japanese steel trading company, located in the Central Business District, is seeking an experienced and passionate HR Assistant Manager / Manager to join our human resource team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the company culture, driving employee engagement and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct and facilitate talent acquisition process.
- Identify and implement appropriate learning and developmental needs of all staff.
- Develop, standardize and implement HR policies, procedures and systems aligned with both regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent management.
- Perform annual appraisal exercise.
- Manage payroll matters.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
Pre-requisites :
- A mandatory degree in Human Resource Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience in HR generalist role.
- Good understanding of HR practices and knowledge of MOM regulations and Tripartite Guidelines and Practices.
- Passionate about people and with a hands-on mentality.
- Leadership skills to oversee human resource functions with confidence and authority.
- Must be a team player and be able to work independently, meticulous and able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals and support others.
- Approachable, available and encouraging open communication and feedback to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
