Job Description

An organisation are seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of HR to lead all human resources initiatives and drive the people strategy aligned with our business objectives.

This role will be pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring effective talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business goals of the unit. Provide strategic direction to the HR team and collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational change.
  • Workforce Planning: Leverage data to analyze workforce trends and develop strategies to address current and future staffing needs. Collaborate with business leaders to understand talent needs and align resources accordingly.
  • Talent Management: Oversee leadership development, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning processes to ensure a strong talent pipeline. Develop and implement programs that enhance employee development and retention.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture: Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation. Drive employee engagement initiatives that reinforce the organisation's core values.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regional employment laws and internal policies, mitigating HR-related risks.
  • Collaboration with Group HR: Work closely with the Group HR team to align HR practices and policies across the organization. Participate in HR projects and initiatives that impact the broader business.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 15+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Prior experience in the finance, tech, or fintech industry, with a strong understanding of the SEA market.
  • Proven experience in Organizational Development and Talent Development.
  • Regional exposure, with a track record of managing HR across multiple countries.
  • Skills:
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR analytics to guide data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
