What You Will Do
The SEA HR Director to support development and execution of business plans by participating in strategy and capability development to maximize resources and placing the right people to contribute effectively to the sustainable business growth. The incumbent will partner with the General Manager and other business leaders to drive local organization effectiveness, culture building, talent management, engagement and employee relations; and at the same time ensuring alignment with enterprise and APAC organization and talent strategy.
How You Will Do
- Partners with SEA General Manager and other business leaders to drive the development and delivery of people strategy and organization capabilities to enable the business strategy and growth.
- Identifies capabilities, competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs to build the required capabilities.
- Deploy organization structure with efficient spans, layers and size.
- Leads strategies on talent development, diversity and inclusion, attraction and motivation, improving organizational health and driving high performance culture and employee engagement.
- Drives a leader-led culture through upskilling and coaching of leaders.
- Implements incentive programs with total rewards team and business leads, ensuring that the incentive design deployment drives business objectives and effectively incents high performance culture and work force productivity.
- Manages employees and labour relations and compliance issues in the market.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance. Ensure compliance to corporate, statutory and legal requirements.
- Handles implementation of mergers, acquisitions, divestments and restructuring events and lead post-deal HR and organization integration planning and implementation.
- Lead execution of global and regional HR programs and drive change management to embed the change in the market.
- Lead or actively participate in country/region/global / business/HR projects or programs from problem diagnosis, and definition, design through implementation including development of appropriate change management program/plan.
- Develop workforce plan and partner Talent Acquisition to develop hiring strategy to build our employer brand and recruit top talents.
- Provide work direction and coaching to the local HR team. Manage department budget.
- What we look for
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 12 years HR experience, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- HR experience in Singapore is a must, and preferably with other Southeast Asia markets (Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) .
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across matrixed organization to optimize outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate plans into phased actions.
- Extensive understanding and responsibility in project and program management principles, with explicit experience in applying to deploy complex talent strategies and programs across global organization.
- Prior work experience in MNC environment preferred.

- Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, management and customers.
