Promote best practices in managing employee relations
Implement and update employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring alignment and compliance with the organization's core values, legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide advice and partnership as a point of contact in handling employee relations issues including handling employee grievances, complaints, and workplace misconduct.
Perform work pass application/renewal, confirmation assessment, re-employment/contract renewal, and timely updates of employees records in HRIS
Handle operational matters for off-boarding
Acts as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
Provide HR advisory service to employees and stakeholders in all operational related matters and to ensure smooth resolution on HR queries
Handle and follow up on employee-employer related matters independently
Handle all government statutory surveys and corppass administrations
Recommend and implement improvements for HR & Admin processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency
Facilitate HR functions which include Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, Welfare, etc.
To take on HR improvement projects and other adhoc projects as assigned
About you:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in handling full spectrum of HR & administrative roles, preferably in marine industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiar with Workday system is an advantage
Familiar with Singapore Labour Law & Employment Act
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with employees
Responsible to follow through work matters consistently
Self-starter, resourceful and possess a curious nature to dig further to learn new knowledge
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks with sense of urgency
Mature, presentable, stable, and professional with good judgment between employer and employee perspectives.
