The Role
As SECTION's HR Executive, you'll independently manage all HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and performance management. This solo contributor role involves driving a positive work environment and ensuring efficient HR operations across the board.
The Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings and interview coordination to extending offers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases, and handle work pass applications, renewals, and terminations in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the entire employee life cycle, including onboarding new hires with ISO-compliant documentation and managing offboarding, exit interviews, and final documentation.
- Organize employee engagement activities, such as quarterly team bonding and celebratory events, and support employee benefits programs, managing initiatives such as bread days.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR queries, policy guidance, and grievance resolution.
- Support performance appraisals by coordinating reviews, gathering feedback, and completing necessary follow-ups.
- Generate HR reports for internal and external use, and assist with government surveys and audits.
- Maintain a productive work environment by overseeing office upkeep.
- Support overseas HR functions,including coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and collaborating with overseas team to maintain consistent practices with local office.
- Handle ad-hoc and administrative duties to support smooth HR operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1+ years of HR experience, ideally in a creative or digital marketing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, friendly, and concise messaging.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and is comfortable working amongst integrated teams in fast-paced and dynamic environment
Good to Have
- Proficiency in HR information systems and reporting tools for effective data management.
- Knowledge of Singapore's employment regulations and labour laws
- Familiarity with tools such as Google suite and Microsoft Office will be a plus
