Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contact for employee grievances and concerns.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Offer guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
- Develop and streamline HR services identify and resolve HR issues within the business unit as needed.
- Support the implementation of HR strategies and programs.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on legal changes and industry best practices.
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, and terminations.
- Assist with completing Ministry of Manpower (MOM) surveys.
- Draft, review, and update HR letters, notices, and announcements.
- Address insurance inquiries related to Group Hospital & Surgical, Group Personal Accident, and Work Injury.
- Recommend and implement adjustments to benefit and compensation packages.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Generate HR reports to aid in data analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality.
- Lead and manage the HR team.
- Assist the Line Manager with any other ad-hoc HR duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of the Employment Act and local practices and regulations in Singapore.
- Experience in the logistics industry is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with counterparts in China HQ.
- Excellent multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on, well-organized, self-driven, and able to work independently while being a good team player.
- Ability to start on short notice is an advantage.
