Job Description
The HR Partner plays a crucial role in the APAC HR team. Reporting to the manufacturing site HR Leader, you will be responsible to partner business leaders based in Country to support the end-to-end People Strategy in consultation with the site HR and Business Leaders.
You are skilled in managing and driving strategic initiatives & programs. The ideal candidate will be organized, meticulous, and a dedicated innovative executer. You'll be an advocate of Skyworks culture and values, anchoring the HR Partner role in a variety of activities notwithstanding Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Learning Development, Reward Solution, HR Services & a custodian in Ethics & Compliance matters. As a member of the HR Field Team, this role serves on the HR front lines to support the business.
Working across all aspects of the functions remit, the HR Partner is responsible for the implementation of HR strategy, policies and initiatives for the business groups.
The HR Partner has a focus on the implementation of talent and organizational development initiatives, programs and practices including Onboarding, Performance and Career Management, Leadership and Professional Development, Hi-potential and Succession Planning, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), Employee Engagement, and Assessment and Measurement.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources as a trusted partner for the above scope, with the collaboration of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Rewards and HR Services
Execute the HR strategy in line with Skyworks HR ambition and support the businesses in their respective transformations
Drive employee engagement activities and meaningful initiatives that harness team collaboration
Foster a positive and engaged organization through building manager excellence in a coaching environment
Ensure an efficient management of the resources: talent pool management and retention
Participate in one of the HR signature projects
Represent the voice of the leaders to the employees, and needs to be influential to make recommendations to ensure its effective delivery
Coach the leadership team ensuring they are delivering on their purpose and inspiring their teams in line with corporate values
Partner with HR partners to implement talent review and succession planning to ensure business continuity for all key leadership positions. Drive the development of next generation leaders, supporting progressive succession and development programs and practices.
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for HR partners on new and existing programs, initiatives and tools to ensure global consistency of leadership and talent expectations, skills and development.
Participate in employee engagement survey efforts including analyzing and presenting data, collaborating with HR partners and business leaders to create actionable insights for leaders to improve business results, and utilizing survey tools
Involve in global performance and career management initiatives to ensure best practices are applied, continuous improvement, and relevance to the needs of a fast-paced and competitive semiconductor business
Stay abreast with Talent Management practices and developments including technologies, industry trends and innovations
Integrate D&I practices and acumen throughout all talent solutions.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in a business partnering capacity
Experience with non-executives and union is a plus
Mandarin speaking is highly-preferred due to the need to liaise with mandarin speaking counterpart
Possess superb written and spoken communication skills
Excellent interpersonal relationship-building, stakeholder management & employee coaching skills
Excellent digital skills; knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and Power-point impactful presentation slides
Data analytics skills to influence decision-making
Exposure to broad range of HR generalist responsibilities (employee engagement, business onboarding, people development)
Ability to remain confident under pressure and work with senior leaders, regional HR stakeholders and project teams collaboratively to address challenges
Strong project management execution skills
Self-starter & digitally-savvy on social media
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Exceptional results orientation with a high degree of personal initiative and very hands-on, flexible and customer centric attitude
