Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile HR Generalist to join our team. This role will encompass a full spectrum of HR functions and administrative responsibilities, with an additional focus on IT coordination tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure a seamless integration into the company.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and welfare programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in payroll processing, leave management, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as CPF, IRAS submissions, and employment laws.
Performance Management:
- Coordinate performance review cycles, including appraisal schedules and documentation.
- Provide support in training and development programs to build employee capabilities.
HR Compliance & Reporting:
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
- Prepare HR metrics, reports, and analyses for management.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage general office administration, including vendor management, office supplies, and facility maintenance.
- Oversee company events planning & logistics.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of employee records and contracts.
IT Coordination Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between employees and the IT department or external IT vendors.
- Coordinate the procurement, setup, and maintenance of IT equipment (e.g., laptops, printers, software licenses).
- Provide basic IT support for employees, such as troubleshooting connectivity issues, password resets, and software installation.
- Assist in managing IT inventory and ensuring security protocols are in place (e.g., data backups and access controls).
- Monitor and coordinate system updates, network maintenance schedules, and compliance with IT policies.
Ad-hoc and Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake additional HR initiatives or projects as assigned by the manager to support the organization's goals and operations.
Professional Skills & Abilities:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist roles
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, local employment laws, and statutory regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge (e.g., hardware, software, network)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in IT coordination or basic IT troubleshooting is an advantage
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
