Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR Director in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the overall organizational goals.
- Review, develop and implement HR procedures, policies, guidelines, and forms processes for core process improvement, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. For changes to policies, work with Corporate HR to ensure alignment and practices amongst the group's hotels.
- Project tasks to meet operational and business needs:
- Hiring improvement:
- Streamline the job posting and application process.
Work with the hiring manager to understand and explore how to improve the efficiency of the talent acquisition process.
To review and recommend solutions to increase efficiency in the talent acquisition process. Make recommendations for improving the overall talent acquisition process.
Partner with hiring manager to develop and implement efficient interview processes.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Development of onboarding and offboarding programs:
- Design and recommend onboarding process for new employees to ensure engagement and offboarding programs for successful transitioning of departing employees.
- Talent development:
- Identify the skills gap and competencies of respective employees and recommend training and development programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
- Improve employee communication:
- Explore use of technology to automate tasks and improve communication with candidates.
- Responsibilities may be added or vary in line with operational and business requirements.
- Supports the HR Director with the scoping of projects, identification of project stakeholders, documentation of project plans and the establishment of project teams where needed.
- Leads the coordination and roll-out of projects monitor progress and lead aspects of implementation as assigned.
- Keeps the HR Director informed about project status and issues that may impact HR service delivery or project outcomes.
- Responsible to work with related government bodies and institutions to get grants for any HR related matters.
- Other projects consistent with the position as requested by the HR Director.
- Preferably with hospitality experience and ability to cope with the fast pace environment.
The HR Manager/Assistant HR Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that the company has a strong and qualified workforce. S/he is responsible for developing and implementing HR processes and programs that support the company's overall business goals.
