The HR Manager position is a full-time role based in Singapore. Your main responsibility consists of recruitment works and providing support to management.
Job Responsibilities:
Performance Management
- Oversee and evaluate the performance of the HR team in the Singapore office.
Recruitment and Hiring
- Oversee the entire recruitment and hiring process for the Singapore office, including onboarding new employees, offboarding departing employees, and conducting interviews.
Legal and Compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert on Singapore employment laws and policies.
- Provide advice and guidance to local managers on the implementation of employee policies, rules, and regulations.
- Enforce disciplinary measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
Policy Development
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Talent Retention and Employee Engagement
- Work closely with the local management team to develop and implement strategies aimed at retaining existing talent and enhancing employee engagement initiatives.
- Enhance employee welfare by organizing team-building activities and office-level events.
Brand Promotion and Career Development
- Plan, organize, and attend career fairs to promote the company's brand and advertise open positions.
- Coordinate with the training department to plan and execute training sessions for office staff.
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and management.
Record Keeping and Confidentiality
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Ensure the employee database is up-to-date and uphold confidentiality in all HR matters.
Regional and Global Collaboration
- Collaborate with other HR teams in the Asia-Pacific region to assist with recruitment and interviews as needed.
- Collaborate with the Global HR team in creating employee benefit plans and remuneration packages to retain talent and stay competitive as an employer.
Skills and Abilities:
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Understanding of Singapore's labour laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced working environment.
- Responsible, self-driven, strong learning ability and execution ability
- Experience in handling cross-department communication is an advantage
- Prior experience in team management and leadership
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources/ business administration/ related fields.
- At least 3-4 years of HR experience and with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership/management role
Physical Requirements:
No major health issues or diseases that may affect work continuously.
