We are representing our client, a local church organisation to look for an experienced HR practitioner to complement the existing team.
As the Manager (HR), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy and culture in alignment with the church's vision, mission and values. You are responsible to lead and oversee all HR functions, including workforce management, staff engagement and development and serve alongside senior and executive management teams on organisational growth and development matters in the church context.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage full spectrum of HR functions throughout the staff life cycle, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, talent management, HR information system, with efficaciousness, integrity and consistency.
- Provide best practice HR advice and strategic HR planning in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with church outcomes.
- Manage compensation and benefits projects in consultation with Board HR Committee and senior management team.
- Manage staff development processes to build organisational capacity for the short-term and long-term needs of the church.
- Drive HR projects relating to staff engagement and well-being and building talent pipeline.
- Oversee HR team to ensure smooth running of all HR processes including payroll administration and contracts management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of local employment law in accordance with TAFEP guidelines, IRAS and CPF Act is required.
- Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
- Strong persuasion and influence skills to manage stakeholders across all levels of staff and board members.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Digitally-saavy and experience with HR systems is required.
