Job Description

Overview:

This role will support a large employee population which is across geographies or site level and business divisions in Southeast Asia. It will have full responsibility for a range of HR activities and support all employees in the organization up to senior management, COEs and HRBPs to deliver HR Service Delivery Model

Responsibilities:

Provide expert opinion on area(s) of responsibility to contribute to HR Operations Management of strategic planning, problem solving and overall direction of the HR service delivery model
Responsible for consistent and efficient delivery of a broad range of HR services and CoE programs for the organization. Oversee and manage Compensation, Benefits, Employee & Labor Relations, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Recruitment, Learning & Development. Delivery of HR services and CoE programs in compliance with country specific laws and regulations
Implementation of programs to effectively communicate with and train HR staff, employees, managers and key stakeholders on new processes and standard requirements
Acts to solve problems and identify new opportunities. Resolves complex HR issues conferring with managers on intricate and highly sensitive issues. May work with Legal Counsel directly as appropriate.
Coach and guide managers to develop leadership capability, maximise employee potential and promote career development, performance management.
Responsible for continuous process improvement to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Builds strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders

Qualifications:

University degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years experience in HR function and at least 5+ years solid experience in a HR generalist role including the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels
Fully conversant and up to date with employment laws and HR best practice with experience in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders & senior leaders.
Experience of working with global HR colleagues/team and able to work in a matrix-organization
Fluent in English, Mandarin is a plus.
