HR Solutions Team
The HR Solutions Team drives the highest impact programs and prioritized projects for business groups, functions, and HR. This organization is responsible for developing and implementing business-focused solutions through iterative and collaborative approaches, partnering directly with clients and stakeholders to achieve desired and sustainable outcomes.
The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As HR Solutions Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Develop and implement organizational designs aligned with business and functional client strategies
- Manage global projects, including defining deliverables, setting measurable goals, and planning for change impacts
- Strategize to fulfill current and future capability requirements across Business Groups and Functions, collaborating with HR COEs for optimal solutions
- Design and execute impactful strategies and initiatives, such as change management, retention programs, and workforce adjustments
- Lead HR process design or redesign to align to our operating model and HR structure (potential, performance, promotion, etc.)
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across HR COEs by leading priorities with enterprise-wide impact, aligned to strategic imperatives of 3M's employee experience
- Work with business clients and the HR M&A team to effectively manage mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Expert in Human Resources area
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional and international project teams
- Demonstrated ability to effectively influence stakeholders at every organizational level
- Excellent communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts and tailoring messages to diverse audiences
- Flexibility with schedule to work effectively with a global team and US clients/colleagues
- Proficient in Agile methodologies
- Skilled in collaborating with clients to design and implement organizational structures that support business objectives
- Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of change management, including identifying change impacts, creating and implementing mitigation strategies, and measuring change process/success
- Track record of implementing people plans that align with business objectives, including capability planning/advancement, employee engagement, talent management, DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) initiatives, etc.
- Diverse HR experience in various sectors, such as plant, business, and COEs, is preferred
- Global HR experience preferred
- Bi-lingual proficiency preferred
Work location: Hybrid
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
