Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact for all local HSE-related issues.
- Develop and maintain an effective Health and Safety Management System in line with Group policies and best practices.
- Create and implement an effective HSE strategy to support continuous improvement.
- Conduct accident/incident investigations and prepare/provide necessary reports.
- Perform HSE inspections, audits, and training as required.
- Offer practical and informed advice to managers on Company Policies and H&S legislation for both routine and non-routine matters.
- Stay updated on current HSE management best practices and theories to advise effectively and ensure relevant application in line with business objectives, culture, and environment.
- Maintain effective working relationships with key personnel across all businesses through proactive site visits and regular communication.
- Ensure HSE remains a focused strategy, supporting management in identifying priorities and monitoring performance against strategic objectives.
- Always exercise due regard for the health and safety of all in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance to Junior HSE Executives when required.
Requirements
- Min. Diploma with 3+ years of experience.
- Registered Workplace Health & Safety Officer.
- Experience in leading a training team.
- Strong team coordination and motivation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Decisive and able to handle pressure.
- Knowledge of HSE management systems.
