Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations.
Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies.
Coordinate WSH initiatives.
Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams.
Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report.
Ensure project's compliance with all statutory requirements at all times.
Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place.
Requirements:
Registered WSHO with minimum 5 years of working experience in a construction firm
Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
Able to speak mandarin as required to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
