Our client is an Oil & Gas MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas servicing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a HSE Specialist to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Job Responsibilities
- Promote a strong HSE culture to ensure effective implementation of safety procedures.
- Carry out thorough inspections of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and lifting devices, as well as emergency response systems.
- Review and assess preventive action reports to enhance safety measures.
- Confirm that Activity Risk Assessments (ART) are conducted correctly for all work activities.
- Advise management on compliance with HSE policies and legal requirements for all facilities.
- Provide HSE guidance to line managers and supervisors regarding safety issues.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies on matters related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Investigate workplace incidents and analyze patterns to recommend corrective actions.
- Work with management and external organizations to develop and deliver effective health and safety training programs.
- Evaluate the success of internal training initiatives related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Perform internal audits and site assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety policies, and participate in client and external audits as required.
- All other adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Min Diploma in Relevant Qualification in Workplace, Safety and Health
- Min 5 years relevant working experience.
