Job Description
We are seeking an individual with HSE experience for the position of Health Safety Environmental Trainer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will be responsible for training workers on safety matters, enforcing safety policies, safeguarding inventory, and coordinating first aid training programs.
Deliver training courses and assessments in accordance with the facilitator and assessment guides as assigned by the Training Lead with the highest standards of ethics, integrity and professionalism.
Assist the Training Lead to schedule trainings and ensure delivery of training meets the construction demands.
Prepare the necessary training materials, training rooms, equipment as required to fulfil effective delivery.
Verify the correctness of Verification of Competency (VOC) documents and ensure necessary training requirements as defined in the Competency Matrix are completed prior to badging approval.
Support the Training Lead in the design and development of training curriculum.
Build capabilities to conduct insightful, engaging, impactful and informative training to all levels of the workforce including trainings/workshops for Management.
Maintenance of training records in an easily accessible and traceable manner.
Support the data verification and assurance of the proper registration of personnel in the BAS system.
Conduct routine evaluations and assessments to determine training effectiveness. This includes but not limited to worker engagement, site observations to collect data and feedback, targeted inspections for gap analysis and improvement of training content.
Qualifications
Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or equivalent
Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) minimum preferred
Minimum 3 years experience as an adult trainer preferred
Mininimum 2 years experience as a safety professional, preferably in a construction environment
