We are seeking a highly organized and experienced HRBP to deliver a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to the organization from educating business units on compensation practices, labor and employee relations, performance management, career development to advising on various management issues.
In this role, you will be a HR Business Partner who builds strong partnerships with the leaders and the HR Centres of Excellence (COE) teams to develop and implement the HR strategy and solutions in support of both short-term and long-term business goals.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
- Establish strong partnership with the business units to drive organizational effectiveness while implementing HR programmes and initiatives
- Work closely with key stakeholders and provide HR guidance across the organization to develop a robust understanding of the business and employees needs.
- Provide advice and implementation of HR policies and procedures including but not limited to the following areas - Employment Legislation, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Recruitment, Manpower Planning, Rewards Strategies and Employee Engagement
- Collaborate closely with business and HR team in driving programs implementation, upgrade design and feedback collection. Taking ownership of program whole lifecycle and drive delivery.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Establish clear understanding of the hiring requirements of the Business Units and work closely with COE TA Team on the hiring of talents, appointment/re-appointment of staff on a timely basis and build and maintain talent pipelines
- Assess current and future talent needs based on business goals
- Analyze workforce trends and anticipate skill gaps
- Promote diversity in hiring practices to build a more inclusive workforce
HR Operations and Project Management
- Drive our Diversity and Inclusion programs, including programming and delivery of events, in partnership with our Employee Resource Groups (ERG's).
- Coordinate and manage ad hoc HR projects as needed, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits team to review and execute annual performance reviews, benefits programmes & HR policies matters
- Partner with COE team on payroll, claim, systems and other HR administrative operational matters
- Partner with COE Team in training and employee development matters
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in the Human Resources function, preferably in a HR Business Partnering role.
- Good Knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels
- Attention to detail and results driven.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability according to changing needs and priorities
- Collaborative and is comfortable working in a matrix structure with multiple priorities
- Resourceful and possess strong initiative to drive changes
- Ability to work independently as well as be active team members within and across the HR team.
- High maturity level and being absolutely trustworthy in handling data or info with high confidentiality, able to provide fair judgement according to company guideline or people process.
