The role
The Director, People and Programmes will be responsible for developing and executing a myriad of HR strategies that align with the company's purpose, mission, values, and strategic objectives. This role, working closely with other functions, will play a key part in driving the organisation's commitment to sustainability, and success of our employee workforce. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the executive leadership team.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Lead the overall HR team, driving the strategic vision and operational execution of HR functions to support the organization's goals.
- Responsible for overseeing all HR functions with a strong emphasis on stringent controls in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.
- Key enabler to drive talent programs and implement organizational design strategies to support the Business growth agenda. Drive successful and effective Implementation of the programs/strategies
- Lead the design, development, and management of effective rewards and recognition programs to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages for employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
- Lead, manage, and coach the People Business Partners to support the respective / projects people-related agenda(s).
- Facilitate, coordinate, and manage organizational change initiatives, focusing on people-related challenges and anticipating future concerns.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and make data-driven decisions. Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for senior management, providing analysis and recommendations on key HR metrics.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes and market trends affecting compensation and benefits practices, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Lead change management initiatives within the organization, supporting employees through periods of organizational change and transformation. Communicate changes effectively and manage resistance to ensure successful implementation.

The ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 10-15 years of general Human Resources experience with 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience and proven track record of building and leading high performing teams
- Experience with total rewards management and/or another HR function is an advantage
- Experience working for a global company as well as a growth organization demonstrating adaptability and change management skills FinTech or Technology industry experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence managers and a proven track record of proactively analyzing, data, troubleshooting, and recommending appropriate solutions through to completion
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and relationships at all levels
- Have a thoughtful, data-driven, caring, and direct approach to people and challenges
- Able to deal with ambiguity and thrive in fast paced and challenging environments
- Able to apply different coaching techniques to various situations not take a one-size-fits-all approach
- Work autonomously but adept at partnering with others and be open to feedback
