Position Summary
The HR Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day HR operations of the Singapore office, ensuring alignment with company policies, local labour regulations, and organizational goals. This role is pivotal in building a strong company culture, managing talent effectively, and ensuring efficient and compliant HR processes.
Please note that because this client's parent company resides in China, candidates must be able to speak fluent Mandarin for daily interaction with counterparts in HQ.
Salary guide: $4,500 per month
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively into the organization.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
- Foster a positive work environment by organizing team-building activities and engagement initiatives.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with MOM labour aws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure the office complies with workplace health and safety standards.
4. Performance Management
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development plans.
- Collaborate with managers to address performance-related issues.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
- Facilitate internal workshops and learning initiatives to upskill the team.
6. Policy Development & Implementation
- Review, update, and enforce HR policies in alignment with company goals and Singapore's labor regulations.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of HR Supervisory experience
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR best practices.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
