Plan and deliver high-quality IB/A Level curriculum lessons in Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology for students at both the Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).
Design engaging lesson plans that align with the IB/A level philosophy, focusing on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and real-world applications.
Assess students academic progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Prepare students for internal assessments and IB exams, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities across subjects.
Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and continuous learning opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
Teaching certification and/or IB A level certification is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.
Proven experience teaching Math, Physics, and Chemistry within the IB/A Level framework.
Strong understanding of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
