Job Summary:

As an Application Developer specializing in SAP for Utilities Intercompany Data Exchange, you will design, build and configure applications to meet critical business process and application requirements. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance across multiple teams and playing a key role in decision-making processes. This position requires a deep understanding of Configuration & Release Management, Design & Build Enablement and Build Management. You will develop innovative solutions to enhance functionality, optimize processes and ensure seamless integration across applications.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development: Design, develop and configure robust applications aligned with business requirements, with a focus on SAP for Utilities Intercompany Data Exchange.

Innovation & Optimization: Create and implement innovative solutions to improve application functionality and efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and refine business and application requirements.

Team Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing and guiding team members to deliver high-quality solutions and foster collaboration.

Technical Guidance: Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and support team decisions.

Problem Solving: Develop and present solutions for complex problems that apply across multiple teams, ensuring a streamlined approach to issue resolution.

Defect Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and other issues to maintain optimal application performance.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices, applying them to enhance application development processes and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Master Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Intercompany Data Exchange.

Advanced Knowledge in: Configuration & Release Management, Design & Build Enablement, Build Management

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in application development frameworks and languages relevant to SAP and utilities-specific solutions. Experience in performing code reviews, debugging, and defect management.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide scalable solutions for cross-team challenges.

Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the utilities or energy sector, specifically in data exchange systems.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in SAP application development and deployment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
