PURPOSE
The role responsibilities are mainly to support Head of Financial Reporting in leading the ILP financial reporting function and to ensure quality and timely delivery of ILP reporting deliverables.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual ILP reporting deliverables including the MAS regulatory deliverables.
- Manage semi-annual ILP fund report including liaising with external auditors.
- Manage relationship with external auditors, MAS regulators and internal stakeholders for ILP related requests.
- To support the launch of new product or new fund by providing ILP related requirement and participate in UAT.
- Actively look for process improvement relating to operational effectiveness and efficiency within the ILP financial reporting function.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA) with at least 6 years of experience in ILP financial reporting.
- Strong grasp of knowledge on Financial Reporting related regulation (e.g. MAS reporting regulation and IFRS standards).
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, well-organised and systematic.
- High personal levels of motivation and delivery orientated focus, with good aptitude in problem-solving.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
- Strong understanding of end-to-end process for ILP financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, thus ability to liaise with and work across departments to achieve best outcomes for the business and customer.
- Sound understanding of SG Finance standards (SFRS) and MAS regulation (particularly MAS 307).
- Good knowledge of Oracle accounting system as well as policy systems (including AS400).
- Knowledge and experience of best practice within industry to consistently improve delivery within department.
