Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provide data, develop and implement transportation policies and procedures which support customer and business objectives. For example, annual global RFQ activities (Request For Quotation)
Support the requirements and Information gathering to support TMS (Transportation Management Systems) Design and Implementation
Plan, coordinate, schedule and oversee shipment activities as needed in MSO
Ensure Transportation planning supports timely deliveries, are cost-effective and adhere to safety regulations
Monitor transportation service level performance (3PL, carriers, suppliers, etc.) and associated KPIs/Metrics
Drive/implement continuous improvements and cost saving initiatives when necessary
Communicate with carriers, suppliers/vendors, and customers to maintain strong relationships
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires minimum of 4 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
Your Profile:
Knowledge of transportation operations, freight tendering, and tracking processes
Experience in scheduling, logistics optimization, and managing to customer demands
