Incident Response Team Analyst Responsibilities
- Bring operational excellence to team that evaluates threat, risk and user privacy in world centered around time critical emergency escalations.
- Review and assess inbound emergency escalations, make immediate decisions based on variety of complex factors that will include imminence, sensitive issues and graphic content and coordinate with a number of internal and external partners including law enforcement in an attempt to ensure user's safety.
- Be willing and able to work with sensitive issues and content that includes child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury and suicide and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.
- Create and articulate written and/or verbal responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Incident Response policy and process.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes across teams.
- Availability to work weekend days on a rotational basis or a regular schedule of either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in investigative or analytical roles
- Self-starter requiring minimal direction
- Proven ability to make important decisions independently and multi-task under pressure, responding quickly to changing situations in complex environments without compromising quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, should be able to adapt communication style to suit different stakeholders like cross-functional teams and law enforcement.
- Experience with social media, analytical tools, and online research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement
