Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IS Manager to oversee our company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound recommendations about future planning and development of resources to the Cathay Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT Operations:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the reliability and performance of all IT systems and infrastructure.
- Project Management:Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- System Maintenance:Ensure the maintenance, security, and reliability of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Vendor Management:Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the best possible service and value.
- Budget Management:Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
- Policy Development:Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and efficient operations.
- Technical Support:Provide high level technical support and guidance to the whole Cathay Group.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in network and system administration, IT security, and IT infrastructure management.
- Project Management:Proven experience in managing IT projects from conception to completion.
- Problem Solving:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are a plus.
- Database Skills:Experience with FileMaker database and database coding is a plus.
