Job Description

CubeMatch is seeking an experienced We are looking for a hands-on IT Project Manager to oversee day-to-day project activities within the financial services and banking sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, extensive experience in financial services, and a proven track record of managing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day project activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead and manage IT projects related to desktop and laptop deployments, upgrades, configuration, and support.
  • Plan and coordinate the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and associated software applications for end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, procurement, etc.) to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for desktop and laptop initiatives.
  • Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory tracking, and warranty management for desktops and laptops.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security best practices, including encryption, antivirus software, and user access controls on desktop and laptop devices.
  • Manage and resolve hardware and software issues, providing guidance on troubleshooting and resolution processes.
  • Develop and implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure desktop and laptop systems are configured and functioning as required.
  • Facilitate communication with vendors for hardware procurement, service contracts, and product support.
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and address challenges related to project timelines, resources, or system compatibility.
  • Oversee the management of system migrations, software installations, updates, and patches for desktops and laptops.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for desktop and laptop systems and ensure user sign-off prior to full deployment.
  • Maintain documentation of desktop and laptop configurations, deployments, and system changes.
  • Manage post-deployment support and handle ongoing user inquiries related to desktops and laptops.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a focus on desktop and laptop infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their integration with enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with system deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting in a corporate environment
