Job Description

Introduction to the Role:
The role offers a chance to work within one of the world's largest financial institutions, within people and cutting-edge technology at is core. You will be part of a greenfield project within the company, working on server infrastructure design, collaborating closely with stakeholders on a global scale.

The Position:

Gather system requirements for various Banking and Markets projects.
Participate in the system design discussion regional and global including the architecture review board approval process.
Analyze system capacity based on historical trends and growth projections.
Write and maintain solution design documents including high level system design diagram.
Understand bank standards including server configuration, network topology, middleware components, and security policies.
Have up-to-date knowledge on latest technologies.
Document and maintain implementation procedures.

Key Requirements:

Strong experience in infrastructure hosting design.
Strong experience in Linux operating systems.
Strong experience in server performance analysis and server level architecture & hardware knowledge (e.g., HP, IBM).
Experience in virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker).
Strong network architecture knowledge and configuration (e.g., LAN, WAN, DMZ, F5 Load Balancer, Firewalls).
Storage knowledge in SAN/NAS with application (e.g. Netapp).
Experience in Oracle DB.
Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-have Skills:

Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Python).
Experience with automation software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Familiar with middleware applications (e.g., Tomcat, Database, Tibco, MQ).
Trade function and application knowledge (e.g., Order and Execution, Market data, Settlement, Messaging).
Software application flow & understanding.
