We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support our cloud infrastructure on AWS and HCC Cloud. This role is essential for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across our cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud operations, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure on AWS and HCC Cloud, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and security.
- Oversee and troubleshoot critical issues within cloud environments, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support as needed.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Define, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure network security, including managing VPNs, firewalls, VPCs, and IAM configurations across AWS and HCC Cloud.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and adopt best DevOps practices.
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and maintain thorough documentation of all infrastructure components.
- Possess a deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) and security practices to manage VPNs, firewalls, and VPCs effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years+ years of experience
- Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional)
- Required: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate)
- Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional)
- Strong expertise in cloud operations and IaC using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Proficient in implementing and managing network security protocols across cloud environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a CI/CD and DevOps framework.
- Familiarity with monitoring and security tools, particularly AWS CloudWatch and Prometheus.
