Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Interior Designer Drafter to join our dynamic design team, specializing in residential projects. This role involves collaborating with interior designers and project managers to create detailed drawings for HDB flats, condominiums, and landed properties. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a strong ability to draft accurate technical drawings that bring residential concepts to life while ensuring functionality and compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Design Support:Collaborate with interior designers to convert design ideas into accurate, detailed technical drawings for residential projects, including HDB flats, condominiums, and landed homes.
Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
Assist in producing 3D visualizations and renderings to support client presentations.
- Space Planning & Layouts:Develop space planning concepts and layouts that optimize the flow, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential spaces.
Work with designers to ensure that layouts are practical and in line with client needs, whether for small apartments or larger landed properties.
Ensure that all designs comply with HDB guidelines, building regulations, and accessibility standards for residential properties.
- Material Selection & Specifications:Assist in selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture, ensuring they align with design concepts and client preferences.
Prepare material and product specifications for inclusion in project documentation.
- Client Interaction:Support designers during client meetings by presenting design concepts and revisions through drawings.
Revise drawings based on client feedback, adjusting layouts and design elements as necessary.
- Collaboration with Contractors & Vendors:Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that the drafted designs are accurately implemented during the construction or renovation phase.
Assist in resolving any technical or design issues that arise on-site.
