Job Responsibilities:- Space Planning: Create detailed floor plans, layout drawings, 3D renderings, and perspective/detailed drawings for retail spaces, pop-out stores, counters, and kiosks.
Interior Design:
Develop cohesive design schemes that integrate color, texture, lighting, and accessories. Present design concepts to clients and revise based on feedback.Material Selection:
Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with design concepts and budgets. Source materials from vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Project Management: Oversee fit-out projects for local retail shops and counters. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure successful execution.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact throughout the project, providing regular updates on progress, milestones, and budgets.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct site visits to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately. Address any issues or discrepancies during construction and installation.Documentation & Administration:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, purchase orders, and change orders. Keep track of expenses, invoices, and payments. Diploma/Certification in Architecture, Interior Design, Project/Construction Management, or related fields.- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in commercial or retail projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with carpentry, electrical, renovation, and fit-out works.
Strong knowledge of architectural drawings and retail space design trends.- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
