Intern / Analyst - Pricing APAC

Role Purpose

We are looking for an Intern or Analyst to join the Pricing team of Asendia APAC for 6-months. In this role, you will be reporting to Commercial Analytics Senior Associate APAC. You will coordinate the data from different functions and arrange meeting with stakeholders for commercial topics including but not limited to pricing and profitability review. This role will be based in Singapore.

Your Tasks

• Support customer pricing requests in APAC, especially in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
• Gather and maintain data from different functions, including Data, Finance, Pricing, Sales and Supply Chain team and perform the customer / product profitability analysis.
• Coordinate the pricing and profitability review meeting for management team.
• Support the supplier cost bundle set up in new pricing and billing system.
• Update the pricing and commercial task log and support daily administrative work.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as per business needs.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics or analytical field is preferred. Students looking for internships and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Interest in commercial analytics or pricing in the postal or express industry will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in analytical / database programs and data analysis and reporting tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerBI will be beneficial.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and prepare presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams from various backgrounds and cultures in an international environment.
• Ability to deliver results with a proactive approach to getting things done.
• Demonstrates willingness to move out of comfort zone and adapt to change.
