Intern, Animation (Stellar Ace)
Job Purpose
As a 3D Animator Intern at Stellar Ace, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our creative team to create captivating animations for various projects. With guidance from the Animation Lead, this internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, allowing you to enhance your skills and build a strong foundation in 3D animation. Your primary role as a 3D animator will involve bringing life into the WINK+ Influencers, environments, and objects through animation, enriching our sales clients invested projects with depth and realism, all geared towards enhancing campaign communications.
Responsibilities
Create high-quality 3D animations for characters, objects, and environments using Autodesk Maya.
Collaborate with the design and art teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into engaging animations.
Develop and refine animation pipelines and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.
Rig characters and objects for animation, ensuring proper deformation and functionality.
Animate characters with a focus on conveying emotion, personality, and physicality.
Iterate on animations based on feedback from peers, leads, and directors to achieve the desired look and feel.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure animations align with overall project goals and vision.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Pursuing studies in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Autodesk Maya.
Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and anticipation.
Experience with character rigging and skinning.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from leads and directors.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Portfolio demonstrating a range of animation styles and techniques.
A passion for storytelling and creating immersive experiences through animation.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
