Job Summary
We are seeking a business analyst intern. The successful candidate will assist in understanding the change initiatives, identify current gaps, design, propose solutions and apply SDLC approach to follow through until successful deployment.
Internship Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Assist to coordinate with business and IT business partners to provide sound analysis and solutions.
- Assist with coming up with requirements, epics, user stories, and tasks aligned with user/customer/market/developer needs.
- Assist to ensure end-to-end requirements are clear and target business processes are well-aligned.
- Assist to determine the scope by understanding business context, identify what change is needed and possible gaps between current and expected output.
- Collaborate with Product Owners closely to deliver solutions and user-centric banking applications.
- Assist with proactive risk management - build a sustainable control environment by reducing operational risks, eliminating manual steps and sub-optimal practices.
- Remain open and alert to new technology opportunities.
Learning Opportunities
- Become a Subject Matter Expert in core banking system.
- Keen understanding of different technology domains within the bank and how different functions operate across domains.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology/engineering studies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Passionate in gaining deep knowledge of the building blocks of any software use it to solution for identified issues to improve processes.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work in a team environment.
- Driven to see to the completion of delivering solutions with the highest quality and usability.
- Curious and willing to learn continually and deliberately.

Nice to Have
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Knowledge of basic banking products and payments flows.
