Job Summary:
The intern of 6 months is largely expected to work in an office environment from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays and may also be required to travel out of the office for meetings. On occasions, the jobholder may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support the running of events.
Learning Objectives & Outcomes
Content Creation
- - Conceptualise and create engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including electronic mailers, newsletters, social media and website
- - Collaborate with team members and coordinate with departments to ensure messaging aligns with organisational goals and values
Campaign Management
- Work with departments to plan, ideate and propose social media campaigns to enhance the organisation's online presence.
This includes:
i.Objective & intended outcome
ii. Project management and timeline
iii. Implementation of project/campaign
- Coordinate the implementation of campaign elements, including scheduling and creating creative assets.
Social Media Management
- Monitor and manage the organisation's social media accounts by posting weekly updates, responding to comments, issues, content performance and tracking engagement metrics.
Design and Multimedia Support
- Create and edit visual content, including graphics, images and videos, to complement communication materials.
- Knowledge and experience to use design software and tools to enhance existing designs and/or collaterals.
Communication Support
- Provide communication support to the team such as arranging and coordinating with photographers, videographers, liaising with officers on electronic mailers such as YM Buzz as well as maintaining files and records.
- To curate content for M3 WhatsApp updates, BICARA, twice a week, as well as to create awareness of the events and happenings in the community.
Job Requirements:
- Students pursuing a Diploma in Mass Communications.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.
- Able to engage with volunteers and partners.
- Resourceful and able to multi-task.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
