Job Responsibilities
Brief Overview:
The LCC team is responsible for the SGX Groups legal, compliance and corporate secretarial matters globally, and across all its subsidiaries and businesses, encompassing trading, clearing, settlement, depository, market data and connectivity, indices and benchmarks and other market infrastructure and technology platforms.
Learning Objectives:
Gaining insight into the corporate governance of a listed company
Exposure to day to day administration and operations of legal, compliance and corporate secretarial unit
Exposure to financial sector regulation for exchanges, and the interaction between internal stakeholders needed to ensure compliance
Job Description:
Assist the team in LCC operations, including corporate-level controls on procurement of professional services, staff dealing, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering controls, drafting and vetting of reports and papers, including annual reports, AGM matters and board resolutions, and organization of board meetings.
