Department : to support the Marketing teams in on M-Pop, K-Pop, J-Pop
Period: 6 months (To start in Dec)
Open Internship : 1 headcount
The candidate will primarily work on content creation and should have a good sense of design aesthetic and knowledge of both graphics and video short-form content creation on social media platforms. A general understanding of the music industry, an awareness/interest in music-focused media, domestic and international music landscape, emerging new artists, venues, and locales of interest are a great bonus.
The candidate will learn crucial skillsets, gain valuable experience and this opportunity offers an excellent foundation for individuals who are committed to pursuing a career in the music business.
Here You Will Be Involved In
- Marketing collateral design and creation for both English and Mando-pop on various platforms DSPs, websites, YouTube, social media
- Video editing for social media and promotional video content
- Collation of artists tools and assets
- Content creation and curation for label and artists social media
- Updating of label and artists official websites
- Upkeep of artists one-sheet and pitch decks
- Market Research - Data management, collection and analysis
- Assist with the planning and execution of marketing activities (e.g.: market research for marketing campaigns, identify & liaise with influencers and partners for potential campaigns, engagement with fan groups, contest prize fulfilment, etc)
- Assist with on-ground events (e.g., media interviews, press conferences, showcases, concerts, etc)
- Departmental administration support: Scheduling meetings, arranging calls, taking meeting minutes, monitoring execution of to-dos, organising mails
- Partake and contribute to ideas and brainstorming sessions
It's Music To Our Ears If You Have
- Keen interest in the music industry
- Enjoy listening to music in both English and Mando-pop repertoire
- Intermediate skillsets with Photoshop (graphic design) and Premiere-Pro (video editing)
- An innate knack for short-form content creation on trending social media platforms
- Knowledge of social media platforms functions and tools, especially YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
- Proficient in writing, editing and proofreading skills in English and Mandarin
- Detail-oriented and meticulous with design, numbers and fine print
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects
- Street smart and pop-culture savvy
- Has great initiative and willingness to learn
- Ability to juggle both desk-bound administrative duties and on-ground activities
