Job Description

Education required: Bachelor in Chemical Engineering

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a University for the duration of your Internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Expected Start Date: May/June 2024

What will you do

Where does the role fit

Understanding of equipment capability

The student will learn to differentiate various equipment/instrument, understand their specifications and how they are used for processes via the assigned projects.

Understanding of Management of Change process via the Plant Modification Proposal

The student will be involved in designing, executing and commissioning of modifications in a GMP environment

Process understanding

Participation in batch record review & plant processing to gain understanding of safety/quality aspect of introducing a process into a plant.

Technical application of fundamental engineering skills in the design of process equipment.

Scoping equipment specifications and working with vendors to obtain best in class design for value.

Going to site, observing plant operations and implement engineering modifications to plant.

Commissioning of equipment with engineers and plant technicians.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity and safety.

What are we looking for

Educational background Undergraduate studying Bachelor in Chemical Engineering who is interested in learning more about pilot plant process

Strong written and oral communications skills

Excellent English proficiency

A keen interest in production

Interest with going to manufacturing site, observing plant operations and implement engineering modifications to plant.

Meticulous, organized, and dedicated

Apply his/her knowledge of engineering, data/computer sciences and analytics and learn soft skills in engaging different stake holders to deliver a project.
